To nurture this potential, Ruchika has established
more than 60 Sakha and Sakhi Mandals in Bhubaneswar, creating safe spaces where adolescents and young people learn, lead, and advocate for children's rights.

Through leadership development, life skills education, and regular interactions with child protection institutions, members of the Sakha and Sakhi Mandals gain the confidence to address issues affecting their communities. They organize Child Parliaments, identify local challenges, and engage with duty-bearers to seek solutions from a youth perspective.
